college & career ready!
november 5 (fri): celebrate your favorite college!
Every year at school is a building block in your child's path to success (college or a career). To help our students start thinking about what they can do after they graduate, we will start to introduce them to what is available to them. This is what the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program is all about. Students develop academic habits they will need to be successful in school and a career. Children learn about organization, study skills, communication and promoting student voice. Help us teach the children why it is important to stay in school and graduate.
Let's see who has the most college spirit!

HOW TO LOG ON TO YOUR CHILD'S COMPUTER
Thank you to Mrs. Schwindler for creating this video on how to log on to your child's computer!
Meal Service 2020-21
Breakfast 7:00-7:40 a.m., a morning snack, and lunch are served daily in our cafeteria. Families can qualify for free or reduced price meals by completing an application at any time during the school year. Parents are encouraged to prepay for meals on a monthly basis by sending cash or checks made out to Wailuku Elementary School in a marked envelope. Children with insufficient funds in their accounts that do not qualify for free meals should bring home lunch or will be provided with a "brown bag" lunch while waiting for parents to deposit funds. Each student has a computerized meal account that provides up to date account transactions and balances.
Check out the new "EZMealapp" site where you can check on balances and make payments online. The link is above under "Meal Account Information"
Due to Federal regulations, we cannot accept cash payments at the breakfast or lunch lines. Payments will be accepted in the office. Doctor notes regarding food allergies should be sent to the Health Aide and the office. Our school participates in the Federal Fresh Fruits & Vegetables Program providing children with free samples of these all year long during morning recess.
